I bought a new motherboard and installed evrything on it from a motherboard that got fried. Now the new one won't POST. Do you think my CPU got fried? What would keep it from not POSTing? Thanks for any help, Rex

the best way is to remove all hardware and start with the processor (w/o HD or cd-rom also but of course leave the video in it) and if it posts then add another piece of hardware. if it does'nt post with just the CPU & video card then the CPU or video card is probably fried.Do you have another CPU to try? and when you say it does'nt post, do you mean that the fans and all come on but it does'nt post? if that's the case something is definetly fried. Hope this helps :-)
