hey guys i think my harddrive has died but im not totally sure and i need a second opinion please
So recently i was playing TF2 (less than 2 hours ago) and my PC hardlocked on me so i rebooted it and as its going through the bios and i come up to the windows loading screen, but it never loads... just stayed at the windows logo screen for a good 5 minutes so then i rebooted again and i thought maybe my OS is corrupt.. so i go to system restore feature and see if that fixes it, I proceeded and it just hard locked on me and i thought thats weird... so i tried it again and the samething happened... so im thinking maybe my harddrive is went bad as it is 4yrs old. After that i put my windows disk in and i am going to format my drive and all of a sudden it freezes again.. so i go back in and instead of format i just hit delete... and it works but it deletes about 500gb worth of stuff in less than a second so i was a little sketchy... anyways i create the partition and it also creates that in less than a second... so i hit next and see copying windows files but instantly locks up on me again. Like i was saying does this sound like a bad harddrive to you guys?

Yeah, the hdd may be bad but go to hdd manufacture website and download hdd diagnostic software to test the hard drive.
Be prepared to buy another hdd.
