Is a 250 watt psu enough for my comp. Also would you consider me upgrading to an 500 watt psu a waste of money, because i want to upgrade later for ATI's newer video card when it comes out. I think someone said their next card would be called the 9900 Pro.

here's my comp specs:
2 7200 HD
1 cd-rw drive
pentium 4 2 gig
512MB SDRAM
ATi Radeon 8500LE vid card

500 is a little overboard...300-400 is good ;)

If the system is working fine then it is obvious that the PSU is providing plenty of juice but I will admit, that a 250 is kind of pushing it. A 300 is the minimum I would have, if I had your spects in my own system.

As, the other person stated. 500 is a little much, a 350 would do you just fine.
