Specs: Macintosh OS X, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Hi I have a iomega 1TB portable hard drive that i was planning on using to store my picture and movie files. I am using a macbook and i cannot copy anything and when I try I always get the message, "iomega HDD cannot be modified" I've tried several different approaches but no matter what type of file it will not copy.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Look at this. There's a program called MacFuse that will allow you to use the drive.

Using any media to store the only copy of the data is very risky. Backups are needed if the data is important to you.
