The first time I plugged it into my laptop it worked fine. Then I started copying over a music file and left for a few hours. when I returned the device had stopped working and disappeared off My Computer and if I plug it in again, turn it off or restart it still doesn't appear. Any help would be appreciated.
try rebooting your laptop....not sure if that's what you meant. Also try it in a different PC to see if it works fine. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions 7 Golds
ive tried both of those things and it didnt help, the strange thing is it shows up under "devices and printers" but it doesnt show in "My Computer" so i cant access it...
