Hello,

I am trying to get a Iogear 2.0 USB Card, model #GIC220U working. I installed the card in a PCI slot and installed the drivers. The Iogear website has 2 versions of drivers for this card and my operating system,I have tried both. I have a VIA Chipset and I installed the latest 4 in 1 drivers and their USB patch. At different times since the USB card installation, my computer occasionally freezes up or reboots itself. Upon rebooting it runs the scandisk utility and errors in the INFOsector are corrected. When I delete the drivers for the card the system freeze ups and errors stop. I install the drivers and the problems start again. I have some computer knowledge and I have done everything I know. I don't know if the card is bad or if there is an IRQ conflict. If there is an IRQ conflict, I am not famaliar with IRQ problems or how to correct them. If anyone would so kind as to help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Sherry
