|I've been trying to install a bluetooth adapter, but I've been getting the same issue with multiple devices. Everything seems to install correctly, device manager shows the device, and the bluetooth icon appears in the system tray.|
But windows will not find any device, it just sits on the page when trying to find something. Also, when the adapter is plugged in, my 'devices and printers' folder will not show any of my currently connected devices and just shows a progress bar across the file path bar, and will not show any of my devices until the adapter is removed and the pc rebooted. I can also turn the device on and off though the system tray, but if I click the settings it does absolutely nothing.
I've tried two different devices and had the exact same result with both:
I installed the device on my WinXP box and it worked as expected, so it's not a hardware issue. Any ideas on how to get this to work?
