I Have installed a Maxtor30G on aPCI controller and itreads OK on my device manager list. However it does not show on "My Gomputer" and I don't know how to accwss it to load it. In DM its location is quoted as Bus No O.target ID O.lun O This probably means something to someone but not to me. Could some Samaratin tell me how to call up this drive.

Im just taking a guess here and I dont know about win2k --but have you setup partitions with either fdisk or the win2k disk management? When the computer starts do you see some kind of BIOS type screen telling you a drive is attached to the card?
If the drive is detected by the card, you prolly need to go to control panel-> administrative tools->computer management-> disk management and look for the drive, right click and setup a partition (then format).
Hope some of this helps -- If i can be of more assistance, email me at peterrunyan@charter.net or AIM is manwonamewater icq is 32701069
