Specs: Windows XP
good day to all, i have a problem. i want to invert the direction of x axis of optical mouse instead of i move my mouse going to right i want it to go to left but the sad thing is i don't know what to do please help me

You may need to install the OEM mouse driver instead of generic one supplied with Windows. I might be wrong, but i think there was such option in one of my older Genius mouses.

If this was a mechanical mouse you could do it by switching sensor leads. With an optical you need a software solution.

Did it invert the motion by itself and you want to put it back to normal? That's what I'm fighting with. Haven't figured out how it switched behavior. Nor yet how to fix it. What mouse (brand name, model) are you working with?

By 'inverted' I mean: moving mouse up, moves arrow down, moving left makes arrow move right, etc.
