hi, everytime i turn on my computer i get a error saying "invalid partition table". I've tried booting off a boot disk and windows 2000 cd, none of which work. Can someone tell me how i could fix this problem? This is kind of urgent.

Thanks

Fire that puppy off with a start up disk and make sure it has fdisk on it. Once it boots up and you are sitting at the A:> prompt, type the following: fdisk /mbr. Take the floppy out and reboot.

can someone tell me which operating system's boot disk has fdisk on it? and does the boot disk have to be for windows 2000 because i'm running windows 2000, or can it be for any operating system?

If you are using NTFS the above suggestion will not work.
What kind of a problem are you running into when you try to boot from the Win2K CD? Is the CD first in the bios boot sequence?
