hi, everytime i turn on my computer i get a error saying "invalid partition table". I've tried booting off a boot disk and windows 2000 cd, none of which work. Can someone tell me how i could fix this problem? This is kind of urgent.

Fire that puppy off with a start up disk and make sure it has fdisk on it. Once it boots up and you are sitting at the A:> prompt, type the following: fdisk /mbr. Take the floppy out and reboot.

If you are using NTFS the above suggestion will not work. What kind of a problem are you running into when you try to boot from the Win2K CD? Is the CD first in the bios boot sequence?
