Hey guys, I'm having an interesting problem with the new machine im building..it'll run memtest86 all day long with no errors, but as soon as I try to install windows, it just sits..literally..it gets to the 'Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration' screen, and goes blanklike it's gonna start setup, except it just sits. for hours. I've tried with and without all my PCI cards, with different video cards (AGP and PCI) different hard drives (3 of them), different optical drives, different RAM, and I'm sorta stuck. You implied you've ruled out everything excluding the motherboard, go ahead and swap the board then.

First try unplugging everything except the one CD-ROM and one hard drive, unless of course, you plan to install it on a second hard drive.

No overclocking during install.
