Ok i'm thinking about getting a Sony VAIO AX to get. But i read a bit about it, and it seems the battery life is quite short, about 1 hour and 55 min. Now -this will be dumb - do laptops have cords to plug into wall sockets so you can steal electricity? If so then the battery life doesn't mean that much anymore. And last question if they don't, can i buy another battery to add on. So the time would be around 4 hours of battery life? OH and its 8.8 pounds already. If i add another battery, how much of an increase in weight would that be? Thx in advance.

Ah.. Well If anyone knows of a better laptop, i'd gladly be interested in hearing it. I'm looking for the screen to be 17+ inches, and harddrive to be 100+gigs, with battery life about 4 hours+.

Laptops do come with AC-adapters. Now, with these type of questions you are asking, I'll suggest that you get something from IBM & make sure you pay extra and get the best (all inclusive) warranty package available for the notebook.
