I have a pretty old Dell PC (Pentium III, 863Mhz, 256MB of RAM) and have recently purchased a HP w185 Wide LCD monitor. The monitor needs to run at a resolution of 1366 X 768 but the graphics card doesn't have that resolution and I can not select it. Is there a down load that can help me or do I need a new graphics card?

That is a very odd screen resolution, and no, there's no download that can really change what the hardware supports. I'd be very surprised that your monitor doesn't work on at least a 1024 x 768 resolution, even if thats not it's native resolution. The i815 has drastically low color depth at higher resolutions, and always suffered from abysmal performance in games. Your motherboard probably has an AGP slot; I'd drop an old GeForce 3 in there. It shouldn't cost you more than about $20, and would be a heck of a lot better for games and movies.

You can try updating your video driver but seeing as how the latest available is dated 2002, it's doubtful the widescreen resolution you need will be included.
