Hi all
Thinking of upgrading my mobo & proc only because there're over 3 yrs old. I'm not a heavy gamer & so don't need the latest and greatest technology. Looking at an Intel P4X400 w/Snd, LAN. What is Snd? This mobo will support up to a P4 3.06GHz Northwood proc which I am looking into at 400/533FSB. My second question is is this a decent mobo for an upgrade as I've described? I know there are other mobos around but I can get this one new fo 22 bucks. Also this mobo will support the 1GB RAM on my current board.

Snd= onboard sound.........your choice looks good all though the onboard IDE controller looks to be an ATA 100, 133 is the latest....

Keep the old stuff running
