Well. Intel Extreme Graphics came on my computer when I bought it. If I bought a new video card, could I install it over Intel Extreme Graphics? How? Thanks.

There should be some Intel drivers on there. Uninstall them and reboot. Go into the BIOS to disable the onboard video. Save the settings and power down the machine - don't let it boot back into Windows - it might reinstall the drivers again.

Put the new card in and it should boot up with standard VGA drivers, then install new video card drivers.

The first screen that pops up when you boot up should say Press F1 or DEL or something like that. Hit the appropriate key quickly before the screen passes. This should take you into the BIOS menu. It's fairly easy to navigate, just make sure you don't change anything else.
