CPU/Ram: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 2.
Comment:

Does Intel motherboard D945GCNL support DirectX 10? The maximum RAM supported is shown as 2GB. Is that the maximum RAM supported if I used dual memory?

By the way, I am a newbie here and I would most definitely appreciate any help from anybody.

Crucial.com is showing 2GB.
I have always trusted Crucial.

Guaranteed-compatible memory.

Dx10 will work fine.

If you don't already own the board, choose another one.

As for memory support, I'd go with Intel & Crucial...both say 2GB max. The DX10 question is unclear. The integrated graphics don't support DX10 if that's what you're asking. To take it a step further, if you're asking about gaming, you can forget about using the GMA 950...you'll need a PCI-e x16 video card.
