Reply: (edit)I can't say I'm familiar with that paticular PC, but a lot of times, in the situation you described, you have to pull off the front. The whole covering that surrounds the face of the floppy drive, CDROM, ect. pulls off, and there are screws or clips of some kind underneath there. Like I said, I'm not famililiar with that one in particular, so if it seems like its all gonna crack and break, by all means stop. However try to use even force, you may even need to use a flat head screw driver to get underneath to start the "pry up" process. Good Luck, and let me know if that worked for you. raincheck

Reply: (edit)Is this thing a laptop? I posted earlier assuming it was a desktop as you said it was in your post, but I just did a search on ebay for Vaio, and all I saw were laptops! Still operating under the assumption that it is a desktop as you said, work on those 2 tabs, use force, if that doesn't work pry at the corners of the front panel and see if it gives. If this is a laptop - all bets are off. raincheck

Reply: (edit)Did roadrunner work before you replaced the video card? And is the new video card working ok? RIGHT click on "My Computer", select the "device manager tab", do you see any yellow "!" in there under the display adapter or your network adapter? Or anywhere in device manager? After you do this go to "run" and type cmd. When the command prompt opens up, type this: ping 127.0.0.1 Did you get 4 replies, or did it say "timed out" Please reply with all info, including the device manager info. P.S. Make sure the cable is plugged back in the Network card. raincheck
