installing ubuntu via flashdrive

Specs: xandros, 2.4 ghz / IGB
hi im a beginner in using linux/ zandros/ ubuntu software.

I've got a notebook eeepc 900a netbook with zandros operating system, i wanna install ubuntu.

Ive followed the instructions on the ubuntu netbook remix installation help page, but im stuck.

i have written the img image to my flashdrive and now i do not know what to do next, any help please.

i am using my xp computer to ask for help as my netbook isnt connected to the internet.

ive got the ubuntu remix notebook already downloaded, n im using mobile dongle so i cant download massive amount,

just need help with installing it onto my netbook with a flashdrive,

I would think that you would need to be able to boot from the flashdrive. Of course the flash drive must be bootable, similar to a bootable cd.

oh, about installing it

to learn how to do it, ask google

note that you need to make your computer to boot from the usb...just read Response Number 5
