Specs: Windows Vista, core2duop e4500/2gb RAM
well i have 2 slots and they are both full with hyundai 1gb each ram .can i remove 1 of those so i have 1 gb left and then add a 2gb stick so i have 3gb?(ddr s--- is the same)

If your board will support 2gigs per slot yes. You will need to check your manual or the manufactures site,

If it will then a 1 gig and a 2 gig will work.

You need to look into it before you waste your money. For one thing, by mixing the RAM you'll probably knock the system out of dual channel mode. You *may* be better off replacing what you have with 2 x 2GB rather than running 1GB + 2GB. However, unless your system is struggling due to lack of memory, adding more won't significantly improve performance, if it does at all. What programs are you running that would require more than 2GB?
