Installing on 3 HDD's

Specs: Windows XP
I am currently building my own PC. I am planning to use 3 Hard Disk Drives. 1 would be for Video editing, 1 for Applications (Spreadsheets, I tunes etc) & 1 for games. Is it possible to install XP or maybe Vista on ALL 3 hard disk drives & be able to activate XP on each drive to allow for the updates?.Or can XP only be installed on 1 drive?.

You don't need to install Xp on all 3 drives. You only install it on your primary partition on the main drive. The others can be hooked up as slave drives. After installation of the OS, they will show up in disk management or My Computer as simply additional drives. Another option would be to purchase a larger drive and partition it off into 3 partitions to accomplish the same results. 3 separate drives will safeguard you against loosing all data should the HDD ever crash. That's a personal choice.
