I have recently bought a second hand laptop with no FDD or CD-Rom. Unfortunatly it has no OS either although when it boots to the command prompt and i type dir/w/p it does have command.com on it. How can i install a new OS. I assume the USB port won't work without an OS but will the PCMCIA slot as i have access to a PCMCIA CD-Rom? Would it be possible to connect a second HDD to the parallel port somehow and install win98 from that via a disk image ??? As you can probably tell I'm not an expert and i'm clutching at straws a bit so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Chris
