installing ddr memory

i installed more memory in my pc (pc2700 ddr333) this worked for a few days but then my pc turned its self off and wouldn't start again, and i was getting the message system32\drivers\isapnp.sys is corrupt. i dont have a copy of windows xp to install it off. and if i install this driver will i be able to reinstall the extra memory? please help.

You'll need to run the Recovery Console to replace the corrupt file. You should have received an XP CD with your computer. If not, contact the manufacturer, and they'll send you one.

Sometimes you have to buy the restore CD's from the OEM. Most sell the PC with a partition in the HDD that you can burn a restore disk from. If you haven't burned a disk yet, they may make you pay.
