if your motherboard is EMX-MCP61P/S -AVL what chipset should i install for it???
There is no EMX-MCP61P/S -AVL board only EMX-MCP61P-AVL and EMX-MCP61S-AVL so which one do u have?

http://emaxxtech.com/products/index

Scroll down to AMD SOCKET AM2 Motherboards and choose the correct board and obtain necessary drivers(audio, video, audio, chipset & network) from there. Don't install onboard video driver because u have a video card

what if your only using an on-board video card then your motherboard is what (as iv'e mentioned above) what chipset or drivers do i need to install for it??
U need to install video driver.

and if your Video card is GForce 9500 GT what drivers should i install for it??

✔ Best Answer

The board is based on the nvidia Geforce 6100/nForce 4xx chipset combo. Drivers are found at the nvidia website.

Here's the nForce chipset driver for XP:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce...

And here's the 9500GT video driver for XP, the same video driver is used for the onboard Geforce 6100:

BTW, I just noticed this (in bold):

RAM: 2.00 Single Channel DDR2 @ 300mhz (5-5-5-15)

Was that a typo or are you running the wrong RAM? it should be 800MHz. And why are you running it in single channel mode? Do you only have one stick of RAM installed?

Get out a flashlight. Unplug the power. Open the case and check the silkscreen on the motherboard for the proper model #. The box may be semi-generic and list it as an either/or in the way that you've written. However, as others have mentioned, the drivers required may be different for the different sub-model #s.

For now forget about dual channel because it require two or more memory sticks.

What's wrong with your computer?
We already provided all the drivers for your motherboard and video card.

If your motherboard is OEM, that is made by emaxx for someone else, it probably won't show on their site. In that case you'd find its drivers on the system site, such as Dell, emachine, gateway, etc.--whatever the motherboard was originally mounted in.
