System:
MSI K8n Neo 4 939
Athlon 64 3000+
1 gig ram
Sapphire Radeon X800XL pci-eOkay.
Thought this would be the easiest step.
Get graphics card in the mail today. What I did:
1) Remove old card (ge force mx64meg pci) and put in x800xl.
- Monitor doesnt come on, doesn't seem to recognize the card.
2) Take out radeon, put in geforce..try to install drivers
- Driver install wizard says no ati card found
3) Put in radeon and leave in geforce
- Driver install wizard says no ati card found.I cannot figure out why the screen is blank on load, the old card works fine, the pci-e card is seated correctly, I have 450watts of power to work with,
Any suggestions?

Go into your system BIOS, the option for having integrated video on or off may have something to do with it.

The motherboard does not have any onboard integrated video. I did make sure the bios setting for the pci slots says " PCI- E"
