Specs: Windows Vista
I took my pc to a technician to install new graphics card. hooked everything up right. PC starts, but will not get past startup. It gets to the Windows screen then moniter basically goes into sleep mode. I tried everything to fix the problem, but nothing is working.

"I took my pc to a technician to install new graphics card"

I don't know why it would be necessary to have a "technician" install a card, but since that's what you did, take it back to him & tell him to make it work.

Other than that, you provided zero system specs & zero info about the card. I took away your +1 based on that lack of info.

well maybe that technician did not know abt the power supply needed for the card.
list the system specs , the gfx card, the psu , the cpu everything
and well start from there
