I'm using a pc chips M810LR mobo. It has integrated video but I just ordered a geforce2. I updated the bios and already downloaded the latest drivers for the card. When I get the card I wil reformat and start clean. Do I need to bother installing the most current drivers for the onboard video? Is it a good idead to install them even though I will now be using a video card?

Make sure your onboard video is disabled in the BIOS and have AGP inabled. Do not insatll the divers for the onboard video, as a matter of fact try to unistall the old ones if you can.

First off you don't need to disable the onboard SiS 730 graphics in the BIOS. Just put the GF2 in and the onboard graphics should be automatically disabled and the GF2 will take over.
If you were to add the GF2 whilst the current XP installation was on the hard drive I would say keep the onboard graphics drivers installed and install the latest detanator drivers for the GF2.
Sometimes adding an AGP card to the 810 will not work smoothly and you may have to download Powerstrip or Rivatuner to lower the AGP bus speed to 2X or even 1X to get the system stable.
