Im being sold an Inspiron for $400, so Im basically asking is it a good deal? or should I pass it up? thanks for the help in advanced.

Get the service tag number for this thing so we can see what it was built with.
At this point, I guess about 250-300 bucks max...

Jam, he got all the upgrades on it. The one show is a 1.6, 256mb, and 40gb the one Im being sold is 1.7, 512 and 60gb. Here are the specs. Worth it for $400?

I told him less than 400 and he said sorry that he wasnt going for less than 400 so no deal I guess. He says its worth it because he got all the upgrades on it like the 3 year warrant and 512 memory and 6 cell battery.
