inf folder is invisible

November 28, 2011 at 20:34:17
Specs: Windows XP
My inf folder is found when I do a search, but it is not visible when I go to the windows folder. I have already told it to show all files. When I did the search I copied the inf folder to the windows folder and it made a copy of it which was also invisible. It didn't even tell me there was already an inf folder in the windows folder. It just made a copy of it. The problem is my computer wants a driver for my usb flash drive and it should be in the inf folder, but it doesn't show up to choose it. Win XP Home.

Universal USB driver is installed during win xp installation so u don't need driver for every thumb drive u have. What error or message do u receive after plug in the drive?

it asks for my cd which I don't have of course, because it shouldn't be needed. When I try to pick a location like the inf folder the folder is not there.
