Dedicated video RAM is hardware that is part of the video system. It cannot be changed.

I would think anyone called "El-Magnifico" would know that dedicated memory cannot be changed.

Your choice of the word "dedicated" could be misleading those who are trying to help you.

Most laptops have an on-board video chip which "shares" memory with the system by using a preset amount of installed RAM.

The amount of RAM that can be used by the on-board video chip can often be increased or decreased in BIOS Setup, though there is maximum you can't go beyond, no matter how much RAM is installed.

However, most laptops & factory-built desktops have a BIOS with very limited options and settings, so there may not be any provision for changing the amount of RAM assigned to the video chip.
