Greetings. I know it may be difficult to generalize about this but here it goes. My Hp Pavillion has both video & sound integrated on the mobo, and I was wondering how much my performance would improve if I were to install video/sound cards and disable the onboard equivalents. Would the performance increase be substantial or just small to middling? Thanks!

If you could give details of the on-board
devices you have, it'll be easier to
compare it with another video/sound card.

Unless you are a dedicated gamer, I would say `just small to middling'.
