Very simple question here, how do I tell if my Athlon XP 2200+ is a Model A or B? I know that model B had a 7th layer of copper with a few more million transistors or something which is good but how do I actually work out if my processor is a model B?

If your chip is installed try this program to get all the info about it. CPU-Z www.cpuid.com
If it's not installed look at the code on the chip. go to www.amd.com to find out how to decipher the code, or try www.exhardware.com which is one of several hardware review sites.
