Specs: Windows Vista, 3.2/512MB
I have a few HD's laying around and I have a I have a USB to IDE adapter kit so I can connect them to my laptop and see what is son them. What I was wondering is when I see it has Windows and is therefore most likely a boot disk, is there a way to tell what version of Windows is on the drive. I know in Suse and Redhat linux, there is a file in the /etc directory telling you what version is installed.

Might look at the command file date.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
