Comment: How can I identify my Chipset information My manual says VIA K266/VT8235-Link Client Highly Intergraded but Sandra and Aida says Via Tech VT8375 Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-7VKMP series either GA-7VKMP,or GA-7VKMP-P to GA-7VKMP-SI, can I look in the Bios somewhere to find this out for sure, thats another thing I don't know which one of the Numbers the motherboard is either makes it so confusing when looking for updated drivers.

Reply: (edit)why dont you open up your computer and chk on the mobo itself ? you will get the model number written somewhere in the middle of da mobo Or you could install "FRESH DEVICES" -- a software that tells you all hardware details of your PC -- so if your mobo is a well-known one (not a cheap local make), it'll show you the model number and make :) Hope this helps

Reply: (edit)Motherboard manuals are usually written to encompase an entire series of boards. I would tend to believe SANDRA and Aida32. Are the drivers for those chipset numbers different? The difference may simply be a different csoundchip, for instance. Check out the differences. BTW, Everest Home is the replacement for Aida32.
