I am going to be building a computer and I'm not sure what I should get as far as Hard drives. I'll be doing a lot of video editing.
I know I'm getting 1 120GB Hard drive for pictures, word files, etc.
In addition to this soley for the video editing, should I get two IDE 60GB hard drives setup in raid or 1 SCSI drive?
Thanks!

Ok Uhm Why do you need 120Gigabytes for Word & Pictures. Only need 120 Is if Ya got No-Life Combined with DSL, a lot of games, and/or are a internet software pirate.
Go Here- http://www.thepc.info/ide-scsi.html
But really, I'd suggest ATA and 2 Hdds. Just make sure its at least 7200rpm and has a large enough buffer.
Two Hdds is better than one.
Sometimes a virus will not always affect the 2nd hd, and incase of a registry failure, just go put in ur backup copy.Oh and for Model type, i suggest Seagate. I've had my 3gig Seagate for 6 Years (only slight probs!), its now a slave for emergency backups etc. Western Digital are good for price, but most western digs arent the most reliable. Maxtor I've heard that its a cross of price & raliability.
Seagate - Expensive / Excelent (sometimes loud)
Western Digital - Cheap / Decent
Maxtor - Its the middle man.

Didn't Quantum sell out their disk range to Maxtor over a year ago?? I'm pretty sure they did, as Maxtors have become a whole lot better since.
