My new system is geared for SATA. Two IDEs are being used by my opticals. But I have two internal IDE HDDS left over from my old system. Any advice on to the best way to incorporate them into my new set-up? Thanks.

Install a PATA/IDE controller card. Here's an example:

Jam,

Thanks for the advice and link. Will using the IDE drives within my new system wiht the controller card slow me down at all? Or is it nothing I would really notice compared to the currently installed SATA?

Hi.

If you go with jam advice the drives won't slow down the system because they are running from a independent controller such as the IDE Card.

You will only notice that the IDE drivers are slower when copying from the SATA to IDE.
But its a very small diference.

If you want to use the IDE drives go with jjam's advice I would.

Luck
