What size is the hard drive? Does the drive work OK once detected?

A blue screen is a Windows error, not the BIOS. What is the message in the Blue Screen?

Is your hard drive identified in the POST screens at start up by both the model and the FULL drive capacity?

And bios doesn't use drivers. Try disconnecting your optical drive if its ide then boot. Might be an irq issue. Did you add any new drives or hardware lately?
