Hope someone can help. I have a toshiba satellite 1555cds with is what i think a bad harddrive, when i tried to run a scan disk on it it would not complete saying that it has a error, when i tried to format, it read sector 0 bad, disk unusable. So i went and ordered a hard drive, when i installed it, it took a a long time to start up, and then it said ide #0 error, I used a boot disk to go in and look at the system config and it said that there was no drive installed. When i go into the bios its like its not even there. I thought i had a bad drive, sent it back and it tested fine, they said it was a formatting problem, so they formatted it for me, sent it back, and still the same. It is the same exact drive i took out, when i put the old one back in, it knows its there but not the new one???? HELP ME, i think i will use it for target practice soon!! :)

drive not set up in BIOS properly, or too big for system to handle without problems
