Hi ,
I am having an awful time trying to ID a mobo. A customer brought in a computer that is beeping according to some POST code, but they don't have any documentation for the computer. I have looked on the mobo for an identifying mark, an FCC ID, and the only thing that is printed on it in regards to identification is the number AI61V12A.
The CPU is an AMD, and it's not a socket, it's a Slot.
Can anyone tell me who makes this mobo, or where I can find out?

Thanks,
Roger

Download the free version of SiSoft Sandra analyzer, and it probably will give you the information on that mainboard than you want.

I have the purchased version because I use it all the time, but I assume that the free ("lite") version will do the same.

I assume you can't get into the computer to run any diagnostic software to find out what the mobo is.

I did a google search for "amd slot AI61V12A" and got links in a foreign language for a shuttle AI61V12A. This it look like this?

All of the links on the first page were non-english, so I'm thinking the mobo might have come from some other country (non-north american). That might explain the lack of a FCC ID

I have the same mainboard and I was looking for a firmware update. But I don't think it's a Shuttle mainboard!
If you find out where to find a firmware update or drivers, please write me!
