I just tuned up an IBM ThinkPad, i series 1500. Ran Windows Update, Installed Norton System Works & Internet Security 2003, updated all files, ran all scans. It was running GREAT.

Then it went on a long road trip. It was packed inside of a suitcase, well protected.

Now when I try to boot up, I get three medium beeps, and it shuts down. Thats it. It's the same on batteries or AC. Any Ideas?

PS. I just added 128MB SODIMM RAM before the trip, but it was working just fine.

Not much to suggest except to see that your Memory is properly seated.. and you did not disturb any other part...
