IBM Thinkpad 600E

I got a laptop second hand that didnt come with any software at all. Its an IBM thinkpad 600E (2645-8AA). Can anyone tell me what the COA means as I think you need this when it comes to reinstalling windows? I have no recovery disks. Can anyone tell me where I can find them please? I think I may be up the creek without a paddle!!! Thanks

Certificate Of Authenticity COA If you don't have any media (CD's) you are all done. You will need to buy a copy of Windows to install fresh. Jimi_l

You can find Windows O.S. Cd's all day long on ebay. Or you can go to newegg.com, on the homepage click on software and go shopping.

Actually what you need is "Product code key" to activate windows after a fresh install. A new O.S. disk will come with one.
