Hi, I have an IBM ThinkPad 600E which I just replaced the motherboard in. All internal wires/cables are connected properly, but I am getting errors 161 and 163 as soon as I press the power button. The usual IBM ThinkPad logo is not displayed, just my ammount of RAM and the two error messages.
Does anybody know how to resolve this issue or atleast know what the errors mean?
Thank you! Your responses mean a lot to me.

These indicate configuration changes. You did remember to set up the CMOS, didn't you?

I didn't have the time to order one, so I used another CR2025 battery new from RadioShack and then I had to set the time. Thanks for your help!
Works like a charm!

This just happened about 3 hours ago:
I'm now getting the error "Applications or Devices disabled..." error in my notification area of my taskbar. This happens to disable my sound card drivers. I have tried to uninstall my drivers, install new ones (and old ones) but no driver works. Is there a way to disable this "Applications and Devices disabled..." error altogether, and keep my sound card functioning? Thanks again.

Do you think you got those errors because of the new CMOS battery? How did you solder the wires on the battery? It would be much cheaper if we can do that.
