ibm netvista boot loop problem

CPU/Ram: p3 1gig /128 pc133

my ibm netvista computer runs great using a boot disk until i try to load any os on it.about half way through any os installation the computer reboots and gets stuck in a boot loop.Ive tried pc doctor everything checks out ram is good help !
