The case (computer) is IBM 300GL, desktop. Pretty old (CPU P4/200, win98) but still works :). Want to put sound card (isa, of coarse :) ) in it, but for Gratious Sake, HOW TO OPEN THIS CASE? Anyone knows, sites, anything?
Thnx.

According to this page: http://www.conita.com/Computers/IBM...
"If you want to change hardware internally then you will find that it is really easy to open the case. There are three thumbscrews, remove those, and the case is open!"

The several PC300PLs collecting dust in my attic all have chassis locks. If your GL uses the same case as the PL, then you'll need to find a key for it, or else break the lock off (which is actually quite easy to do).
The 3 Terabyte JackMaster 3000 Home Server.
Now storing 200 Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, DVD and Laserdisc films in the form of 1080p/720p/480p H.264-encoded MKVs.What will you do with yours?®

Yes. Could be with a key. Behind, near to power supplay there is something look like lock.
(Is there some place where can I put some pictures?)

Remove thumbscrews, slide the cover forward, then lift it off the chassis.
"And that's the fishing line, because Sharkboy said so!"

I found pictures at:
or search in yahoo for:
IBM 300GL desktop pictures

Oh, come on now. There's nothing to it.
On the top of the case, at the back, you'll see 2 tabs cut into the top. Lift both tabs up, push the cover forward an inch or two and then lift off the cover from the back while sliding it forward.
You can see the tabs if you click on the pics in your link to enlarge them.

The pictures I've found of the 300GL are all the same.
Look on the bottom of the case for the IBM series/model number.

The first download here:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/s...
6272io.pdf, describes how to remove the cover. Page 5 says "Remove the cover screw from the rear of the computer. Slide the cover approximately 19 mm (0.75 in) toward the front of the computer, and lift it off."
The diagram shows the cover screw as being near the top of the rear panel to the right of the power supply.
It also says "For models equipped with a cover lock, make sure it is unlocked."
You may want to download that pdf file and take a look at it. If so, right click on it and choose 'save target as', otherwise Adobe will open and slow the download.
Also, that's a pentium I and not a pentium 4 computer.
