Solved i5 4690 or FX-8350 processor

Specs: Windows 7, AMD A8-3870k / 8GB
Im planning on upgrading my CPU and Motherboard but I'm stuck on these two.
I will mostly be using this for gaming, image/video editing (vegas, photoshop, after effects), 2d animation and 3d modelling and animation. I'm currently using a 1600x900 monitor (if that would affect).
I saw people saying that the fx-8350 would be better in applications using all cores but the 4690 will be better in single core apps. I won't overclock too so 4690k is not an option.

This PC will never be as fast as yours.

This chart:
is comparing gaming CPU's which will also effect some of your other uses.
Note that your graphics card will also effect your experience in all of the above so choose that carefully also.
I recently built a new PC which included an i5-4690K since I was planning on overclocking but I have not found the need so far as it is quite fast. Needless to say, I would recommend the i5-4690 to you.
I would also recommend the following if it is within the scope of your upgrade or build:
A fast SSD drive 120GB to 240GB to run your operating system and your programs and a fast hard drive (WD Black is my preference) probably 1TB for all of your files. Finally, I recommend partitioning off a small (100GB or so) drive on the hard drive to store an image of your SSD drive (updated every 3 to 6 months) in case you ever need to recover your system as well as the normal back up of your personal files.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
