I was trying to update the Bios when my pocket pc went to a screen that has the word "Serial" at the top, a hp blue logo in the center with the word invent underneath it and at the bottom it has a v1.08. I try to do a soft reset and it flashes and goes back to this screen with the information I listed above. I have even tried a hard reset and it does the same thing as a soft reset. Pushing the power button in does nothing. I'm stuck on this screen I mentioned above. When I take the battery out and put it back in, I have a blank powered off screen. I push the power button and it will not power back on. I place it in the charging cradle and it will not charge. I then do a soft reset it goes back to the "Serial-hp logo screen" and will not do anything else. What do I do?

You posted about the same thing previously, in the latter part of this Topic:

Anyone who answers this Topic should read what you ( and I ) have posted previously in that Topic.

Did you manage to load XP on something then try to flash the Ipaq h2200 again?
If yes, and that didn't help, as I told you before, you could try emailing HP about your problem, but the chances are your Ipaq h2200 is probably "bricked" - your problem probably can't be fixed, unless you get yourself another mboard for it.

I got the same problem while i was trying to change my device's OS language from German to English and after some trial it works with XP.. here is how to: you should try to install first ur own original OS ROM from HP's official site.. then if u also wanna change ur language to English or any supplied with HP you should follow the link below with some minor corrections:)
in my case I got a problem with checksum value suitable for German version and I can supply the string including correct checksum value for German to English update.. here is my working string i hope it helps to others who wanna change the operating language from German to English:)
"h2200-GER-1.10.07-956C" after reading the directions given in the link above u just needed to copy this string and paste over the following: "h2200-ENG-1.10.07-9568"..

We welcome any info that fixes a problem - thanks for that.

However, Jamakinthunda's problem, and the problem of the guy who started the Topic Jamakinthunda posted in the latter part of, that I pointed to in Response 2, was probably caused by them trying to update the ROM version in Vista, or Windows 7, rather than XP or lower.
