I think its better to keep you all informed of all spurious nonsense, anyway I took aTransformer, two in fact apart one was out of a 16v Motherboard French Telecom MINITEL(Internal modem also) and the other was out of a Black and white monitor(Samsung)
Anyway the one out of the monitor was wound with enamled copper wire with a second winding inside the ,one size larger diameter, copper wire(enamled also).
However the transformer out of the MINITEL was wound again with the two different thickness wire this time in a parallel fashon(not inside ,just side by side)
Keep you informed of any other developments--okee dokey--
Dave the snake!

I really needed to know that. It has really made my day!!

Considering that MINITEL is obsolete, nobody uses B&W monitors any more and PC power supplies don't use transformers,it's really useful information.

BTW. I took an old motor car engine apart some time ago. The valves where controlled by pushrods operated by a cam driven directly by gears from the crank shaft. Just thought you would like to know.

Looks like ya'll having the same mind numbing useless thread activities as I get over where I'm modding at. Drives me crazy.

I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid...

"Don't you have anything better to do?"

I for one *don't* want to know whatever that might be - although I strongly encourage 'the snake' to pursue that nameless activity

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
