|I have a Toshiba NP one hundred netbook, yesterday I spilt my dads coke and bacardi on it, it was about a third of a half pint glass and I immediately started mopping it up, then my dad took it into the kitchen and turned it upside down to try and get the moisture up to the top of the keyboard, then he tilted I so it would go into the bottom right corner where the least electrics are. We left it like that but we were getting no response from the touchpad, so we used a mini hairdryer to gently blow warm air over the laptop so it would dry out the moisture in the electrics. Now, most of the laptop keys work, except:|
-all of the number keys except 5 and 6
-all of the F keys except F eight through to F twelve -sorry I'm writing with the broken laptop so I cant type numbers or any of the shortcuts
-I'm also not sure about the F four key, it doesn't have an Fn command, like F6 has the volume control one.
My laptop keyboard broke before, but it was a fault with the laptop itself. My friend also spilt a pint of coke on her laptop and it was OK, but I'm worried that because there was alcohol in the drink it might have permanently screwed up my laptop keyboard. Any help? My laptop is precious to me, please, if you know anything that would be of any help, it would be greatly appreciated.
