All I want to know is about hardware virtualization.. How to use it?
which soft wares or OS to use hardware virtualisation?
Can it work like a multiseat PC?
I am not talking about software virtualisation or about hypervisor..
I couldn't find a good guide on the Internet that's why I asked..
Any answer will be help full
A hypervisor is hardware virtualization (which is why Hyper-V on Windows 8 will only run if you have particular processors). Most VMs (VirtualBox, VMWare, for example) support either software or hardware virtualization. Is there a practical reason for your question or is it homework? The Wikipedia article on Hyper-V is a good starting point for further research.
I ve got an i5 3570 processor and 16gb ram, HD 6750 etc...
I use it mainly for general purposes like browsing and videos etc...And I have two monitors, so was thinking whether i can use it as a multiseat PC by just adding a mouse and keyboard..
i could find some softwares for multiseat, they are not free and Iam not planning to buy anything.
I have heard that some linux distros can do that effectively..
But on whole. i dont have an idea of where to begin.
