my java says it is enabled but the program i am using says it is not. this is the message on my manage add ons page. Java Plugin 7 update 11 and lower (click-to-play), Windows has been blocked for your protection.
Are you using Firefox? If so they have blocked the addon for security reasons. I believe it can be over-ridden on specific websites.

Java has had many serious vulnerabilities of late, and many progs have disabled it. Go to Control Panel/Java and update to the latest version.
