i have installed a second internal hard drive

Specs: Windows 7, duel core 2/ 4gig ddr3
i installed a second hard drive on a windows seven system. it is formated and shows up on computer as a second hard drive. my problem is when right clicking on a file and looking at "send to" it does not give that drive, which is drive F in my setup, as an option. Why is this? I am able to drag a file to this drive.

Go here and add a shortcut:

C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

The shortcuts that appear in the "send to" menu, are all actually in that folder. So open my computer and follow the path

my computer
(your username)

One you are looking at the contents of the SendTo folder, do this:

open another My Computer window
using the right (not the left) button on the mouse, right-click drag the D: drive to the SendTo window
when you release the right mouse button windows will prompt you with a choice
choose create shortcut

now that the D drive shortcut is listed in the SendTo folder, it will appear in the send to menu.

I tried following that path and it did not lead me there. Are you talking about windows 7?

I got it to work at last, thanks for the help. I found a different way to get there though. i typed "Shell:sendto in the explorer bar and then dragged the F drive into the list of "send to" shortcuts and now the "F" drive is a choice to send files to. Also found out about the "shift" right click of the mouse and all of the new options that gives you. Again thanks for the help and your time and effort..
